إن شذرات كتاب الإمامة والسياسة لابن حزم على قلتها تفتح آفاقا جديدة للباحثين فى التراث الإسلامى والحضارى بصفة عامة ، وفى تراث ابن حزم بصفة خاصة ، ورغم أن هذه النتف أو الشذرات نشرت من قبل بمعرفة العلامة الكتانى تحت مسمى " بين يدى شذرات من كتاب السياسة بمجلة تطوان عدد (5) سنة1960م ص95-107 . كما نشرها شيخنا ابن عقيل الظاهرى فى كتابه نوادر الإمام ابن حزم مرة نقلا عن ما نشره الكتانى ، ومرة بالقسم الثانى من خلال مخطوط فى السياسة لمجهول ، فضلا عن أن أحد أصحابنا من أهل الظاهر جمع هذه الشذرات تحت مسمى قطوف من كتاب السياسة للإمام ابن حزم الأندلسى ... الخ
