• حصل على البكالوريوس من كلية التجارة بجامعة الملك سعود بالرياض عام 1963.
• تلقى تعليمه العالي في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية فحصل على شهادة الماجستير في الإدارة من جامعة منيسوتا عام 1966، ثم حصل على شهادة الدكتوراه في الإدارة العامة من الجامعة الأمريكية بواشنطن في مطلع عام 1970.
• تدرج في السلك الأكاديمي فحصل على درجة أستاذ عام 1979.
• عمل عميداً لكلية التجارة , وكلية العلوم الاجتماعية , وكلية الدراسات العليا، مستشار في عدة هيئات علمية, وعضو في هيئة تحرير المجلة العربية للإدارة, ومجلة العلوم الاجتماعية.
• له العديد من المؤلفات والدواوين الشعرية.

تعود جذور الصراع بين الصرب والمسلمين في كوسوفو منذ هزيمة الصرب على أيدي المسلمين في الفتح الإسلامي عام 1389م، ومنذ ذلك اليوم عمل الصرب على إنهاء الوجود الإسلامي في البلقان، وقادوا تحالفا مع بلغاريا والجبل الأسود واليونان لطرد الدولة العثمانية من البلقان، للانفراد بالمسلمين هناك واشتدت المؤامرات على الدولة العثمانية من الخارج، وتمكنت صربيا من قيادة التمرد ضد الدولة في الداخل - في منطقة البلقان - واستطاعت أن تستقل أخيرا عن الدولة العثمانية وأثناء الحرب البلقانية العثمانية سنة 1912م، أعلن الألبان استقلالهم، وكان هذا أكبر خطأ ارتكبه الألبان - رغم أنهم آخر الشعوب التي خرجت على الدولة الإسلامية العثمانية
