Or, les ouvrages rediges par des auteurs francophones sur le sujet etant rares, cette traduction d'un ouvrage qui couvre de maniere a la fois exhaustive et detaillee une periode tres importante de l'histoire du Royaume et, qui plus est, tout a fait abordable pour des lecteurs non specialises, se veut une modeste contribution au comblement du manque en la matiere.
