هدف البحث إلى التعرف على نماذج الإشراف التربوي الحديثة المطبقة في الولايات المتحدة وسنغافورة، والكشف عن واقع نماذج الإشراف التربوي المطبقة في المملكة العربية السعودية، وذلك للتوصل إلى إجراءات مقترحة لتطبيق نماذج حديثة في المملكة العربية السعودية، ولتحقيق أهداف البحث استخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي الوثائقي وذلك بتحليل الوثائق والأدلة المتوفرة على مواقع وزارة التعليم وإدارات التعليم في الدول. وتوصل البحث إلى العديد من النتائج أهمها ما يلي: تعتمد الولايات المتحدة وسنغافورة على نماذج حديثة تقوم على نمط الإدارة القائمة على المدرسة، ومنها الإشراف والتقويم الذاتي للمدرسة ونموذج الإشراف الجماعي
