ومن الأمثلة التطبيقية التي توضح معنى هذه القاعدة التي نحن بصدد الحديث عنها: {وَمَنْ يُوقَ شُحَّ نَفْسِهِ فَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ}: 1 ـ ما وضحته آية الحشر، من المنقبة العظيمة التي مدح الله بها الأنصار الذين فتحوا بيوتهم وصدورهم لإخوانهم من المهاجرين رضي الله عنهم أجمعين، رغم قلة ذات يد كثير منهم، وحسبك بهذه المدحة الإلهية، من العليم الخبير ـ الذي يعلم ما تكنه النفوس ـ: {وَالَّذِينَ تَبَوَّءُوا الدَّارَ وَالْإِيمَانَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ يُحِبُّونَ مَنْ هَاجَرَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَا يَجِدُونَ فِي صُدُورِهِمْ حَاجَةً مِمَّا أُوتُوا وَيُؤْثِرُونَ عَلَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ وَلَوْ كَانَ بِهِمْ خَصَاصَةٌ وَمَنْ يُوقَ شُحَّ نَفْسِهِ فَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ}[الحشر: 9].
