عبد الكريم بن هوازن بن عبد الملك ابن طلحة النيسابورىّ القشيري، من بني قشير ابن كعب، أبو القاسم، زين الإسلام: شيخ خراسان في عصره، زهدا وعلما بالدين. كانت إقامته بنيسابور وتوفي فيها. وكان السلطان ألب أرسلان يقدمه ويكرمه. من كتبه «التيسير في التفسير - خ» ويقال له «التفسير الكبير» و «لطائف الإشارات - ط» ثلاثة أجزاء منه، في التفسير أيضا، و «الرسالة القشيرية - ط»

أكرم الله سبحانه وتعالى الأصفياء من عباده بفهم ما أودعه من لطائف أسراره وأنواره لاستبصار ما ضمنه في كتابه الكريم من دقيق إشاراته، وخفي رموزه، بما لوّح لأسرارهم من مكنونات، فوقفوا بما خصوا به من أنوار الغيب على ما استتر عن أغيارهم، ثم نطقوا على مراتبهم وأقدارهم، والله سبحانه وتعالى يلهمهم بما به يكرمهم، فهم به عنه ناطقون وعن لطائفه يخبرون وإليه يشيرون. وكتاب القشيري الذي بين أيدينا والذي ضمنه ذكر طرف من إشارات القرآن على لسان أهل المعرفة، أما من مقولهم، أو قضايا أصولهم، سلك فيه الإقلال خشية الملل والتطويل.
