دراسات هذا الكتاب تقارب موضوعاً يتصل بالكتابة الشعرية وما اقترحته دروس التناص والتأثر؛هوالمثاقفة الشعرية، مما يعد ضرورياً لتكوين الشاعرالذي لايمكن أن يكتفي بموهبته وقدراته،ولثقافة القصيدة التي يشحب دمها وتفتقر إلى الحيوية حين تنقطع عن المصادر التي ترفد الموهبة وتعمقها بجانب الخبرة والتجربة الإنسانية. وإذا كان للترجمة والدراسات المقارنة إسهامها الواضح في المثاقفة مع الآخر بطريق تقديمه كما في متونه وعبرها فيكون باثّأً والمتلقي العربي مستقبلاً، فإن درس المثاقفة، والمثاقفة الشعرية خاصة ، يهب القراءة فرصتن: أولاهما :أنه يتفحص وجود الآخر والصلة به عبر متون عربية يكون التناص والتأثر والهضم أهم مبرراتها وأركانها أيضاً.وثانيهما:أنه يتيح فنياً تلمس الكيفيات النصية التي تمت بها عملية المثاقفة سواء أكانت بطريق التأثر الفردي أي شاعر بآخر ، أوتأثر شاعر بظاهرة شعرية، وتدرس أيضاً الكيفيات الممكنة للصياغات النصية، وفي مقدمتها الجانب اللغوي والتركيبي ثم عناصر الخيال والتمثلات الذاتية، والأشكال والأساليب التعبيرية.كما أن الجانب الموضوعي أو المضموني سيكون مادة لدراسات المثاقفة رغم تحفظ الحداثة منهجياً وتعبيياً على كتلة الموضوع وإدراج النصوص تحته كفريق لا تميز بين كتاباته، وتستبدل به البحث عن الدلالة في النص
