أُحاوِلُ في هذه الدراسة التي تنتبه إلى الفن التشكيلي الفلسطيني المعاصر وذاكرته ومدى صلته العضوية في المجتمع الفلسطيني، أن أقدم تصوراً مغايراً فيما يخص طبيعة الدراسات الكلاسيكية، دون إغفال معايير الدقة في المعلومة والإستفادة من بعض الوثائق والنصوص التي سبقت هذه الدراسة، لكنني أنزح نحو اختبار أسئلة تنطلق من واقع اللوحة "النص البصري" في محاولة مني لإعطاء الخيال والتأويل المناخ المناسب لإستبطان المرجعيات العاطفية، تؤمئ إليه عناصر اللوحة من آلام وجراحات عبّر عنها الإنسان الفلسطيني "الفنان" وإظهار الإيحاءات التي وردت عبر عناصر ومفردات تكررت في فضاء العمل الفني الفلسطيني من خلال نماذج داخل فلسطين والشتات على حد سواء، وتتبع الرسائل التي يبثها العمل الفني إلى جانب المقاربات والتحولات التي طرأت على العمل الفني جراء الإحتلال الصهيوني لتراب فلسطين، قبل النكبة وبعدها، وسيجد القارئ مجموعة التحولات التي طرأت على لغة التصوير الفلسطيني بعد النكبة، كمادة أسهمت في طبيعة الفعل المقاوِم الذي يكشف سوأة الإحتلال ومخرجاته التخريبية في الوجود الفلسطيني، نجد إهتمام الفنان الفلسطيني بالتشخيصية والأرض كعنصرين أساسيين استوطنا طبيعة التصوير
