لا أتردد في وصفها "بعروس الكرسات". ويتفق معي في ذلك العزيز الأستاذ أحمد أمين وكل المؤلفين, لأن كاتبها هو أستاذ الجميع الدكتور محمد عبد الفتاح القصاص. فهو من القلائل الذين تأتي صورتهم المحببة إلي الذهن عندما تذكر كلمة "أستاذ". لقد شرعت في كتابة التعريف بهذه الكراسة بعد قراءة شهادته علي العصر "خطي في القرن العشرين وما بعده" التي صدرت عن دار الهلال عام 2007. وإذا كان قد أوجز في الكتاب المذكور "شهادته" فقد حرص علي أن يقدم في الكراسة التي بين أيديكم "رسالة" : الدعوة الخاصة والمخلصة إلي التنمية المستديمة. ولا أبالغ إذا ماذكرت أن بداية الأهتمام بالبيئة والتنمية لدي "الأستاذ" كانت في برج البرلس, حيث ولد. وأثمرت البذرة شجرة وارفة نستظل بعلمها وخلقها, تسمي "القصاص". لقد رعي أستاذنا مشروع كراسات العلم والمستقبل منذ بدايته, وخص سلسة كراسات مستقبلية برسالة عن "التنمية المستديمة" التي يهديها إلي كل معني بشئون التنمية في مصر ومهموم برؤى المستقبل, وصالح أجيال الأبناء والأحفاد.
وقد تضمن الكراسة ثلاثة فصول ثرية, أولها: يتعلق بالتاريخ والمفاهيم, والثاني: بسياسات التنمية المستديمة, وأوجز في الفصل الأخير الحديث عن أعمدة الأستدامة وموجات التطور التكنولوجي وترشيد الأستهلاك.
نكرر شكرنا للدكتور القصاص علي هذه الهدية التي يقدمها لمصر كلها, وليس لسلسلة كراسات مستقبلية فقط.
