يكادُ المشهدُ الشِّعْريُّ، في أفقِه الحاضر، يبدو مأزوماً؛ برغْمِ ضجيجٍ كثيفٍ، وجلبةٍ مفرطةٍ، بل هو مأزومٌ بالفعل إلى حدودٍ تتسم بالبذخ، وتشي بالانسداد؛ الشأن الذي حمل بعضاً من ذوي الاختصاص الأدبي العام، والشعري اخاص، على التنفيس عن اغتياظه من لحدة الأزمة ونُذُرِ تفاقمها بأنْ وَسَمَ الشعر بال "ميْت". وقد خ يَفِّفُ اخطابُ الناقديُّ الأسيانُ لُ من فرط ألمه، ومن دكنة شجونه؛ فيستبدل بال"موْت" ال"نهاية"؛ أي إنَّ الشعر لمَّا يمتْ بعدُ، ولكنَّه في نهايته مشرفٌ على الموت. فكأنَّ الزمان قد أكمل دورته؛ فعاد سيرتَه الأولى أيام أبي تمامٍ الطائيِّ في تباشير القرن الثالث الهجري؛ حين تأمل مشهدية الشعر العربي؛ فوجد نفسه ميْتاً، وإنْ لم تكن قد ماتت، فهي في مرحلة المنازعة،
