و يتم تحرير التفاهم من قيود المقاطعات الضيقة وإدراك إمكانية الوحدة العالمية العملية. و إنه يعبر عن وعي متزايد بالترابط بين الأجزاء التي تمايز فيها الجنس البشري ".
وتبدو دراسة الحياة والأحداث التي أثرت على فكر المؤلف أساسية للفهم الكامل لعمله.
