ولدت الدكتورة إنتصار أحمد حسن في بغداد وفيها اكملت دراستها الاولية. حصلت على شهادة البكالوريوس( آثار قديم) بدرجة جيد جدا من جامعة بغداد/ كلية الاداب/ قسم الاثار عام 2004م اكملت دراستها العليا فحصلت على الماجستير في الاثار القديم بتقدير جيد جدا عالي. حصلت بعدها على شهادة الدكتوراه في الاثار الاسلامي بتقدير جيد جدا عالي. عضوة في جمعية الاثاريين العراقيين. عضوة في جمعية المثقفين والاكاديميين العراقيين . عضوة في اتحاد المؤرحين العرب.

الكتاب عبارة عن توثيق تراجم الاولياء والائمة والصالحين في بغداد للفترة 145هـ/762م لغاية 656 هـ /1258م اي منذ تأسيس بغداد على يد ابي جعفر المنصور حتى نهاية الخلافة العباسية على يد هولاكو
الكتاب يعتبر توثيق لرجال كان لهم نصيب في التاريخ العربي الاسلامي لهذه الحقبة المهمة الطويلة التي دامت لاكثر من 5 قرون من تاريخ بغداد واحياء تراثها الاصيل فقد حظيت بغداد باهتمام خاص من لدن المؤرخين باعتبارها عاصمة الخلافة الاسلامية لعدة قرون .
