يعدّ كتاب الموشح في شرح الكافية للخبيصي من الشروح المهمة التي شرحت كافية ابن الحاجب؛ وهو يأتي في المرتبة الثانية بعد شرح الرضي الإستراباذي.
وهو شرح ممزوج، إذ مزج الشارح فيه عبارةابن الحاجب بعبارته بأسلوب سهل، ملتزما ترتيب ابن الحاجب، وقد قسم كتابه إلى جزأين،بدأ الأول منهما بالمقدمة وختمه بعطف البيان، وبدأ الثاني بالأسماء المبنية وختمه بنوني التوكيد.
