منذ أن وجد الإنسان على وجه البسيطة, ومنذ أن قام ساعياً يبحث عن سبل البقاء شغلته أسئلة عدة من أين جاء؟ وأين هو الآن؟ وإلى أين سيمضي؟ ومنذ أن وعى صار يبحث عن وجوده وحقيقته بفضل تأمله بهذا الكون الواسع العظيم الذي لابد له من موجد أو مكون يقف خلف تلك الأسرار العظيمة فحاول الوقوف عند ذلك وتدبره وصولاً إلى حقيقة أمره وما يترتب عليه من واجبات وحقوق فلم يكن الوجود محض صدفة عابرة, لابل انه كان دليلاً حياً على موجده العظيم وتدبيره, الذي تكفل سبحانه بإنارة الطريق لسالكيه على يد من اصطفى من رسله وأنبيائه الذين كانوا سراجاً منيراً للناس بتبليغ شرائع الله تعالى التي كانت أجوبة حية لما كان يشغل ذهن الإنسان, وكلما انحرفت مسيرة الإنسان عن جادة الصواب امتدت العناية الإلهية لترفدها بمنقذ يبدد حيرتها حتى انتهت تلك الشرائع بشريعة الإسلام فوجود الإنسان لم يكن محض صدفة.
