يتضمن هذا الكتاب دراسة مقارنه للقانون الجوي مع مقدمة في نشوء هذا القانون وتطوره وخصوصاً في ضوء الاتفاقيات الدولية وتطرق الكتاب الى التعريف بالقانون الجوي وبيان مصادره وفروع وعرف الطائرة والتصرفات القانونية الواردة عليها من بيع وإيجار ورهن والحجر والتنفيذ عليها وتناول الطيران وحقوق الملكية الفردية ومنها الاتفاقات الجوية ومسؤولية مستثمر الطائرات عن الأضرار التي تسببها للغير على سطح الأرض ويبين الكتاب كيفية انعقاد عقد النقل الجوي للأشخاص والأشياء وإثبات والتزامات أطرافه والأحكام الخاصة بمسؤولية الناقل الجوي في ضوء اتفاقية وارسو وبروتوكول لاهاي والاتفاقيات الدولية الأخرى وأوضح الكتاب أحكام كل من التشريعات الأردنية والعراقية وخصوصاً قانون الطيران المدني الأردني والقانون المدني العراقي وأوضح موقف الفقه والقضاء في عدد من القضايا المهمة.
ويهم هذا الكتاب، بالإضافة إلى طلبة كليات الحقوق والباحثين القانونيين، جميع المعنيين بالقانون الجوي من عاملين في ميدان الطيران ومحامين وقضاة.
