يتضمن الجزء التاسع عشر هذا من موسوعة العقود المدنية والتجارية، أنواعاً خاصة من عقود المقاولة. ومن المعلوم أن هذا العقد الذي تعرفه الفقرتان الثانية والثالثة من المادة 624 من قانون الموجبات والعقود بأنه: "عقد يلتزم المرء بمقتضاه إتمام عمل معين لشخص آخر مقابل بدل مناسب لأهمية العمل.

والعقد الذي بموجبه يلتزم صاحب حرفة أو مهنة حرة تقديم خدماته لمن يتعاقدون معه، وكذلك العقود التي بموجبها يلتزم الأساتذة القيام بمهنتهم لمصلحة معهد أو شخص ما، تعد من قبيل إجارة الصناعة. ومن هذا القبيل عقد النقل". يتسع ليشمل نشاطات متعددة وختلفة وشاملة في موضوعاتها.

وقد بحث الجزء الثامن عشر من موسوعة العقود، عقد المقاولة من مختلف جوانبه بصورة عامة، إلا أن هذا الكتاب تطرق إلى بعض الأنواع الخاصة من عقود المقاولة، التي يكثر تداولها في التعامل، ولم يتم وضعها في الجزء الثامن عشر المذكور بل تم تخصيص الجزء التاسع عشر لها، إكمالاً للفائدة. وهذه العقود هي: عقد المقاولة من الباطن، وعقد النقل، وعقد نقل التكنولوجيا، وعقد التزام المرافق العامة، وعقد النشر، وعقد تقديم المشاهد العامة، وعقد الإعلان، والعقد مع رجل الأعمال، وعقد السمسرة، وعقد التعليم.
