د محمدالتونجي دكتور في اللغة العربية وكاتب ولد في مدينة حلب عام 1933 وتلقى تعليمه فيها وتخرج من جامعة دمشق حاملا الإجازة في اللغة العربية ودبلوم التربية ونال الدكتوراه في الادب الفارسي من طهران وأخرى من الجامعة اليسوعية وعمل مدرسا ووكيلا لكلية الاداب ونال العديد من الجوائز من مختلف الدول وله مؤلفات كثيرة.وهو يدرس اليوم بجامعة الشهباء الخاصة بحلب مادة أخلاقيات المهنة .

تحكي هذه الرواية قصة فتى كويتي قدم إلى مصر للدراسة في جامعة القاهرة، وكيف عاش حياة الشباب بشكل واقعي، كما يعيشه معظم شباب الخليج، وكيف انقلب رأساً على عقب.. إلى شاب وطني يدافع عن وطنه وأهل وطنه بروح عروبية ضد الغزاة.
ويلتقي هناك بحسناء من سيناء.. أحبها وأحبته، ورآها أمثولة للفتاة العربية الأصيلة التي تحافظ على نفسها، وتحب علمها، وتتباهى بأبيها شيخ القبيلة الذي دوخ إسرائيل في سيناء.. وبها أسميت عملي "بنت سيناء"، صورتان من بطولات العرب.
والرواية واقعية، بما في ذلك معظم أحداثها، حتى أسماء بعض أبطالها، غير أنني اضطررت إلى تبديل بعض الأسماء لأنهم ما زالوا أحياء، ولا يصح ذكر أسمائهم صراحة. أما أحداث الحروب، والفواجع، وتحرك الجيوش والمواقع فجاء في غاية من الدقة. رواية جديرة بالمطالعة.
