مسيرته
ولد الدكتور عبد السلام بنعبد العالي بمدينة سلا سنة 1945 حاصل على الدكتوراه في الفلسفة، وهو أستاذ جامعي بجامعة محمد الخامس بالرباط، له كثير من المقالات والدراسات العلمية، بالإضافة إلى مجموعة مهمة من الكتب التي نشرت له ومنها ما هو مشترك بينه وبين مفكرين أمثال المفكر سالم يفوت في كتاب درس الإبستمولوجيا .

إن الفلسفة هي مكبوت العلم والتقنية الحديثة، وعندما يصبح العلم والتقنية هما الدعامة النظرية للدولة البيروقراطية، لا يبقى للتفكير الفلسفي من مبرر... بيد أن القضاء على الفلسفة لا يتوقف على مشيئة سلطة بعينها؟ إذ أن السلطة لا تستطيع أن تبت إلا في أمر تعليم الفلسفة، وعلى هذا النحو، تتجلى ضرورة تعليم الفلسفة ببلادنا، مادام التفكير الفلسفي يزيدنا قوة للتمكن من الحوار مع الإبداع الفلسفي في الفكر العربي التقليدي.
يضم هذا الكتيب بين دفتيه مجموعة من المقالات التي تتناول بالدراسة تيارات فكرية أوروبية، سواء في ميدان الفلسفة أو العلوم الإنسانية، لتدخل في حوار مع العالم، مع الآخر ومع الغرب. وهو حوار لا يخلو من قيمة، خصوصاً وأن قراء اللغة العربية لا يتوفرون على النصوص الأساسية نظراً لما يطبع الخزانة العربية من افتقار إلى الترجمات الجدية، يحاول عبد السلام بنعبد العالي أن يعرض هنا لنصوص هامة من غير ما تهور في إصدار الأحكام واتخاذ المواقف.
