إن المرأة تشكل في الواقع نصف المجتمع من حيث العدد تقريباً، ولكن من حيث الأهمية فهي أساس المجتمع، إن صلحت صلح المجتمع، وإن فسدت فسد المجتمع، ومرد ذلك راجع إلى كونها أماً تقوم بتربية الأطفال ذكوراً وإناثاً، ومنها يأخذ الأطفال مفاهيم المجتمع الاكتسابية التي سوف تلازم الطفل طوال حياته، وتصبح اللاشعور الكافي في نفس الإنسان.
من هذا المنطلق الهام لا بد للمرأة أن تحرر نفسها من قيود التابعية للرجال، وتحرر نفسها من الموروث الثقافي الذي فرزها درجة ثانية أو ثالثة، وهذا التحرير لا يكون بمثل هذا الكتاب ولا يألف غيره، بل لا بد أن تقوم المرأة نفسها بذلك من داخلها تقود عملية التحرر والحصول على حقها بكونها إنسان لها كامل الحقوق الإنسانية.. وهذه المفاهيم الثقافية المعروضة في هذا الكتاب، هي محاولة لمساعدة المرأة في إعادة بناء شخصيتها من خلال فرز الموروث الثقافي ونقده، وليست هذه المسائل للحصر، وإنما هي نموذج لتوصيل منهج الآفاق والأنفس ونظرية المقاصد والحدود للشرع الإسلامي، وتدريب المرأة عملياً كيف تقوم بدراسة الموروث الثقافي وفرزه لتقوم بدورها وتصبح إنساناً فعالاً في الحياة الاجتماعية.
