Book Description
امتاز ابن منظور بتلخيص الكتب المطوّلة، وبذلك سهّل الانتفاع بها لمن جاء بعده، ومن بين تلك المطوّلات كتاب "لسان العرب" وجاء بعنوان "تلخيص الذهب مِن لسان العرب" وجاء في ست مجلدات ضخمات جمع فيها بين التهذيب والمحكم والصحاح وحواشيه والجمهرة والنهاية، وقيل في الكتاب زيادات كثيرة على القاموس، وقد افتتحه بحديث في فضل اللغة العربية، ثم بين رأيه في كتب اللغة السائدة في عصره، ثم مصادر كتابه، ثم أسلوب التأليف، ثم قيمة اللسان، ثم دواعي التأليف، ثم شرط الكتاب.
ولأهمية كتاب "تلخيص الذهب مِن لسان العرب" دأب الأستاذ محمد حسين الحسيني الجلالي إلى تحقيقه وتهذيبه واختصاره في ثلاثة مجلدات ليُستفاد منه في التعرف على أصول المفردات في القرآن الكريم والحديث الشريف بتأليف سهل التناول، اعتماداً على هذا المصدر الجامع، واقتصر فيه على ما ذكره ابن منظور، مستلهماً هذا الاختصار ممّا عمله علي بن العدوي الشمشاطي (ت/ 377ه) وهو من المشايخ اللغويين في الجزيرة، فاتبع نهجه في ذكر المستعمل، وإلغاء المهمل والشواهد والتكرار أما في عرضه فأبقى على ترتيب الزمخشري والأساس في سرد الألفاظ على أوائلها، دون الحرف الأخير كما عليه المؤلف، وانتقى من كلامه ما يخص القرآن الكريم والحديث الشريف، وأهمل غيرها من الشواهد والأبيات، على اعتبار، أن الأقوال تغني عن الأمثال، وحاول تحصيل المشترك من المعاني، وخاصة المشترك المعنوي الذي يكشف عن تطور اللغة إلى المعاني المجازية.
وبناءً على ما تقدم يقول الأستاذ محمد حسين الحسيني الجلالي: "يمكن استخدام تلك الألفاظ والمواد في الحياة المعاصرة بإحدى العلاقات الإحدى والخمسين في صيغ المزيد من الأفعال، لمواكبة الحياة المعاصرة لغوياً، على غرار ما يقوم به مجمع اللغة العربية والمفكّريين اللغويين". هذا وقد اشتمل "تلخيص الذهب من لسان العرب" ثلاثة أجزاء مرتبة ألفبائياً تبدأ بحرف الألف وتنتهي بحرف الياء وتبدأ بتعريف لابن منظور ومشايخه ومؤلفاته ومؤلفاته ومصادر كتابه وأسلوب تأليفه وتنتهي بعرض التلخيص على حروف المعجم وفق الترتيب الألفبائي.
