وما من أمة تعرضت لما تعرض له العرب من الظلم والإجحاف، و في تاريخ العرب الحديث، وبالجدية المعروفة عنها تعرض المؤلفة لتاريخ العرب الحديث، في مسعى لنقص الغبار عن تاريخ العرب الحديث، حيث اعتمدت الوحدات السياسية التي يتضمنها الوطن العربي أساساً للبحث فقد لكل قطر بلمحة تاريخية عن ماضيه وما تعرض له كل قطر من تحولات وتحديات.
وجاء الكتاب في قسمين رئيسيين الأول يتناول الكيانات السياسية القائمة في وقتنا الراهن، وأسسها التاريخية، أما الثاني فيتناول الأحداث والحركات الإصلاحية التي شهدتها هذه الوحدات.
