"قمر أيلول"... ديوان شعري يضم بين دفتيه ما يزيد عن خمسين قصيدة للشاعر "نبيل معوض" يقتحم فيه عالم المرأة، ويغوص في الذات الأنثوية برفق، فنعرف من خلاله أسرار القلوب وخفايا الأرواح.
في هذا العمل يكتب "نبيل معوض" عن المرأة التي رسم لها عالماً خاصاً به يصدح بالأشعار وبالأحلام، فنقرأ معه لوحات رائعة بين طيف المرأة وظلّها الذي يتسلسل سراً إلى عوالم الشاعر الداخلية، فالأنوثة عنده "هي حالة أنسنة دائمة تعيشها المرأة... ولا يمكن لرجلٍ أن يعايش هذه الحالة ما لم تقوده حبيبته إلى حذر عالمه الداخلي".
في قصيدة له بعنوان "الحب" يقول: "لولاي... ما سمعت امرأة... كلمة غزل... ما كان للكرز... طعم القُبل... لولاي... ما تُوِجَ بهالةٍ... كوكب زُحَل... من أنت؟... أنا الحبُ... لولاي... ما دقت قلوب... وأدمعت... مُقَل".
وفي رحلة الحياة لم ينسى شاعرنا جرح غزة وأريحا وغيرها من سائر القرى والمدن الفلسطينية، فكان قلمه ينزف حزناً وألماً على ما حصل في غزة... يقول في قصيدة بعنوان: "غزة": "... عندما شاهدت ما يحصل... في غزة شعرت بالبرد والقشعريرة... يجتاحانني... تحوّلت مسام جسدي... إلى مساميره... نفذت إلى دمي... يا أريحا... لن يسلبونا حقنا... لن يسلبوا الكرامة... والعزة... حياكم الله يا أبطال بلادي... وحماكِ الله يا غزة...".
