"حدث على سفوح بياندور" بيريفانا مهاباد، هي رواية أدبية تتصل بالفن الأدبي الشعبي في محافظة الحسكة وهو فن غني عميق دقيق منيع رفيعـ لا سيما حين يمتد إلى العلاقات الحية حين كان الفرحون الكادحون يعيشونها باستمرار ويحبونها، وفي عهود الاستعمارات الغربية المختلفة. كما تتصل بنضال وكفاح هؤلاء الكادحين، وقد جرت أحداثها الفعلية عام (1934-1936) في معركة بياندور التي دارت بين مختلف عشائر محافظة الحسكة وبين المستعمر.
والرواية ترصد تضحية أسرة إمام قرية بياندور أثناء المعركة، وترصد على وجه التحديد ما قامت به ابنته ربيعة، التي وقعت إلى جانب كفاح الكادحين، حين استطاعت أن تنظم جهودهم وأن تقوم بدور المستطلع، والمراسل لتحقيق النصر، فاستحقت من قومها لقت بيريفانا مهاباد أي راعية مهاباد حين حققت النصر بفضل ذكائها وحسن إدارتها لهؤلاء الفلاحين الفقراء.
