يقوم هذا الكتاب على دراسة منهجية علمية لسيرة الأنبياء و المرسلين عليهم السلام, في ضوء علم مقارنة الأديان, وعلم المكتشفات الأثرية والإستدلال في نقد ما زيفته الأقلام اليهودية, ومن نحا نحوها وفي دحض ما فتحته على البشرية من ظلم وويلات. ويبحث الكتاب في مقدمته أهمية الحقيقة العلمية في الميزان الإسلامي, ثم يمهد في أن لكل علم وسيلة خاصة به يتوصل بها إلى الحقيقة, ثم يبدأ البحث بالتعريف بسيدنا إبراهيم عليه السلام ويحدد شخصيته بثلاثة أبحاث: نبوته والعقبات التي لاقاها في سبيل تبليغ دعوته, ثم تم تسليط الضوء على قصة سارة وافتتان الجبار بها, والوثيقة الإسلامية المعتمدة للبحث والمقارنة هي حديث في صحيح البخاري, وأخيرا يفترض الكاتب صحة الأصل التوراتي ثم يبحث المسألة الأخيرة وهي خبر وفاة إبراهيم عليه السلام ودفنه, وشهادة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في إبراهيم عليه السلام.
