لا يمثل هذا الكتاب قراءة تاريخية لما جرى ويجري من أحداث في منطقة الشرق الأوسط، بل يمكن اعتباره محاولة لتسليط الضوء على أهم القواعد والأسس التي ترتكز عليها إسرائيل لتحقيق إطماعها غير المحدودة في العالم العربي. فبعد احتلالها لأرض فلسطين، بدأت تل أبيب عملية شرعنة وجودها عبر اتفاقات عديدة عقدتها مع منظمة التحرير الفلسطينية، لتطل على العالم بمشروع الشرق أوسطية الاقتصادي والتكنولوجي الذي يجعل من الدول العربية سوقاً استهلاكية للمنتجات الإسرائيلية، مع الاستمرار في انتهاج سياسة الإرهاب المنظم ضد الشعب الفلسطيني. ينقسم هذا الكتاب إلى قسمين: القسم الأول يبحث في أسس السلم الإسرائيلي المسلح انطلاقاً من الفكر الاستراتيجي، والنهج المؤسساتي، والقدرات الاستراتيجية العسكرية وغير العسكرية. أما القسم الثاني فيعالج أهداف السلم العبري عبر قراءة المؤشرات التالية: الإرهاب المنظم الذي مارسته تل أبيب،الدور المحتمل للجيش الإسرائيلي في مرحلة ما بعد التسوية، وأهداف إسرائيل من عملية التسوية في الشرق الأوسط، وعلى الرغم من وجود آراء متعددة تبشر بالسلام في الشرق الأوسط، فإن هذا الكتاب يطرح مقولة استمرار الصراع حتى تتحقق هزيمة العدو الصهيوني النهائية، أي إنهاء وجوده وتفكيك دولته.
