"بيدي أغلت في وجهي أبواب الحب، أبواب الجنة ونوافذ الأمل، كدت أصاب بالجنون، أسير في الطرقات تائهة، شاردة الذهن، أبحث عن حبي الضائع شعرت أن الدنيا ضيقة لا تتسع لأحزانى وثمة تعاسة تنسج خيوطها داخل نفسي وكأني مسجونة داخل شرنقة ها هي صدمة جديدة أطاحت بكل آمالي- أحلامي. لقد انتهى كل شيء وسوف يكون موعد زفافي أول أيام عيد الأضحى المبارك القادم... وهو موعد زفافنا! تأكد أنّي ما زلت أحبك وسأظل أحبك، سوف أبكيك عمراً، وأبكيك دهراً، وأبكيك زهراً، سوف تبقى وجعي الدائم الغائب. فلا زلت أحبك حتى الوجع والنار تشتعل في كل خلايا جسمي كلما جاء ذكر اسمك.إن حبك صنع مني امرأة وأعاد إلى الثقة في نفسي، بدأت أشعر بذاتي بكياني، بوجداني، لأنني أحبك قررت أن يكون موعد زواجي من الرجل الآخر نفس اليوم الذي اتفقنا عليه، في نفس الفندق ونفس القادة، ونفس المدعوين ونفس البطاقات الدعوة على شكل قلب كما اتفقنا مع تغير اسم العريس فقط. بعد إذنك سوف ارتدي نفس ثوب الزفاف الذى أرسلته لي من أبو ظبي. سوف أكون عروسك في تلك الليلة بروحي وقلبي، ولن يأخذ مني الرجل الآخر سوى الجسد".
في بحر الحب وأوجاعه، تبحر هذه الرسائل الملهبة بالشوق والحنين، والتي هي في أهلها مذكرات كتبها عاشقان ذابا في عالم الهوى ثلاث سنوات، حلما خلالها بأحلام محاها الزمن وجعل منها ناراً تكوي قلوبهم التائهة في بحر الزمن الذي يغير معالم الأشياء ولا تستطيع حتى تلمس معالم الحب الجنوني المتربع في عرش القلب النابض بالحياة.
