نشأت فكرة إعداد موسوعة طلابية في الرياضيات الهندسية منذ وقت ليس بالقليل أيام كنت طالبا‘ص بالفرقة الإعدادية ووجدت النقص الشديد في مكتبتنا العربية من مراجع بلغتنا الأم إلا ما ندر وكانت منفردة لأساتذة عظام لكن أن نجد مرجعغ شبه شامل في التخصص الذي ظلم كثيراً وما زال الظلم متمثلاً في التجاهل الشديد لهذ العلم والتجاهل الأكبر للقائمين عليه مع أنهم جميعهم يبذل الغالي والنفيس من أجله. إن الرياضيات الهندسية علم كبير كبحر بلا شطآن من أراد أن يبحر فيه بلا بد من أن يختار طريقاً محدداً كي يبحر فيه وليته يصل بين شطآن ذلك الطريق في بحر الرياضيات الهندسية.
عزيز القارئ إن الرياضيات الهندسية تجدها رؤيا العين في شتى مجالات حياتنا اليومية ولك بعض الأمثلة وليس الكل كلنا يستخدم الكهرباء كلنا يستخدم المواصلات كلنا يستخدم الاتصالات بمختلف أنواعها كلنا... كلنا أو بعضنا هل تصدق إذا قلت لك أن الرياضيات الهندسية هي الأساس وراء كل هذا حتى الطعام الذي نأكله وصناعاته المختلفة تجدها تبع أساساً من الرياضيات الهندسية.
