لما كان علم البلاغة وتوابعها من أجلَ العلوم قدراً وأدقها سراً؛ إذ به تعرف دقائق العربية وأسرارها، وتكشف عن وجوه الإعجاز في نظم القرآن أستارها. يضع الدكتور عبد الحميد هنداوي كتاباً ذو فائدة عظيمة لدراسي البلاغة العربية يستند على نظرية بلاغية عربية نابعة من التراث الإسلامي ونقصد به شرحه لكتاب (مواهب الفتاح) لابن يعقوب المغربي بالإرتكاز (على تلخيص المفتاح) لجلال الدين القزويني. يسير فيه على طريقة الشراح المعهودة في ذلك الوقت من شرح الحدود وتعليلها وتفصيل المجمل وتوضيح المشكل وشرح غريب الألفاظ وغير ذلك. وقد اعتمد في تحقيق هذا السفر الجليل على النسخة المصورة من طبعته القديمة المتداولة، مع الاستعانة في تصحيحها بمخطوطات الكتاب في دار الكتب المصرية، إضافة إلى تخريج الشواهد الشعرية في دواوينها ومصادرها الأصلية والترجمة لكل من الخطيب القزويني صاحب (التلخيص) وابن يعقوب المغربي صاحب (مواهب الفتاح). وتقسيم العمل إلى جزئين الأول يبحث في علم البلاغة والثاني في علم البيان، والاعتماد على هذين العلمين على تفسير الايات القرآنية، وألفاظها التي تأخذ أكثر من معنى مثال: "أليس الله بكافٍ عبده) أي: الله كافٍ عبده، لأن إنكار النفي نفي له، ونفي النفي إثبات وهذا مراد من قال: "إن الهمزة فيه للتقرير بما دخله النفي لا بالنفي" ...وعلى هذا الدرب يسير شرح الكتاب بين النفي والتأكيد في شرح معاني وألفاظ القرآن والمقابلة بين ابن يعقوب المغربي وجلال الدين القزويني وغيرهم من العلماء ممن سبقوهم في هذا السفر الجامع.
