من أنا يا أخت كي أنثر عمري في اشتهائك، من ترى علمني يا أخت أن أجري ورائك؟! ما الذي يملأ فكري ما الذي يهجس فيه؟! لست عبداً... أنا أنت... فارجعي عن كبريائك.. علموني أن أرى حواء شيطاناً رجيماً، لقنوني أنها قد سلبت منا النعيما، ورموني في لظى صحراء منقوصاً سقيماً، أشتهي الظل وظلي أنت في طهر نقائك. جعلوها متعة أو شبهوها بالأفاعي، ثم قالوا: إنها بنت رياء وخداع. حذّروا منها أهذا أنت يا طل المراعي؟! أي حقل ما ذوت خضر رؤاه بانزوائك! من ترى أحمل حقل الورد حتى صار شوكاً؟! ثم جاء اليوم يبغي منه ريحاناً مزكى. قال للجائع كن عفا وللأغوار فُلكاً ما أشاح الوجه عفواً عن شقائي وشقائك.
في هذا الديوان شعر ينساب من نفسه ليتواثب ليتسلل ليعود فينساب فيستقر متموجاً على سطح بحيرة قد يخفى عليك عمقها لأن هذه القصائد هي غزل. إنها لهب يتراقص فالجمر هنالك وإن لم تلمسه وإن لم تره، إنها تقودك إلى أريكة وثيرة وتسمعك الأنغام المسكرة فالدنيا خضرة وجمال ونشوة ومواكب رؤيا وهذه أقصى ما نصبو إليه من الشعر الغنائي.
