إن معرفة أحكام المعاملات المالية بتفاصيلها الكاملة له أهمية كبيرة لدى المتخصصين في أشهر وأوسع مذهب فقهيّ عرفه المسلمون، وهو المذهب الحنفي حتى اشتهر بالمعاملات من بين المذاهب الأخرى، واقتدى به أصحاب المذاهب الأخرى فيها.
ويرجع ذلك لأسباب عديدة ذكرتها في بداية الكتاب تحت عنوان ميزات المعاملات، تُمثِّل الخطوط العريضة التي سلكها فقهاؤنا في تقرير أبواب المعاملات، وتعتبر أسباباً لنجاح المعاملات الشرعية في تلبية أغراض الناس.
وهذه المادةُ المطولةُ التي تَمَّ اختصار كتاب "المنهاج الوجيز في فقه المعاملات" منها بتوفيق من الله؛ فيها استفاضة لمن أراد أن يتوسَّع في المعاملات، وتصلح أن تكون مرشداً لَمن يريد تدريس المنهاج الوجيز، ومناسبة لطلبة الدراسات العليا، فقد درستها للدراسات العليا لمرات عديدة، فكانت ناجحة ومفيدة جداً لهم سواء في تخصص المصارف الإسلامية أو الفقه وأصوله.
وصارت الحاجة لدراسة المعاملات ملحة بعد أن ازداد الإهتمام بالمعاملات الشرعية؛ لكثرة الحاجة إلى فهمها في معاملات المصارف الإسلامية، وهذا مظهر من مظاهر اليقظة والأصالة، وبرهان ساطع على شمولية الإسلام وصلاحيته للإنسان في كل زمان ومكان، بخلاف المناهج الإقتصادية الوضعية التي لم تستطع أن تلبي أغراض الناس وتحقق لهم السعادة المرجوة في الدنيا والآخرة.
