يعتبر هذا الكتاب محاولة للإسهام في التعريف برموز الفلسفة السياسية المعاصرة (هابرماس، اكسل هونسث، انطونيو نغريو اغامبيو، نانسي فرايزر، تشارلزتايلورز، الان باديو...) الذين أثروا الساحة الفلسفية باطاريحهم الجديدة وبنظرياتهم الأصيلة.
هكذا تم التطرق لإعلام المدرسة النقدية الألمانية: الفيلسوف اكسل هونيث صاحب أطروحة الصراع من أجل الإعتراف وأستاذه الفيلسوف يورغن هابرماس صاحب نظرية الفعل لتواصلي، ثم عرجنا الفلسفة الإيطالية المعاصرة: الفيلسوف جورجيو أغامبيو الذي يوظف مقولات فوكو وشميت في كتاباته السياسية خاصة في سلسلة الإنسان المستباح HOME SACER، والفيلسوف انطوني نغري الذي يمثل ما بعد الماركسية واشتهر بكتابه الإمبراطورية الذي ألفه بالإشتراك مع الفيلسوف الأمريكي هاردت.
كما حاولنا إبراز وجوه فلسفية نسوية على سيل المثال الفيلسوفة الأمريكية نانسي فرايزر صاحبة أطروحة إعادة التوزيع والفيلسوفة سيلا بنحبيب ممثلة الجيل الثالث لمدرسة فرانكفورت المعروفة بأطروحتها حول الكوسمبولييتة.
نحن اليوم في أمس الحاجة لأدوات ومفاهيم الفلسفة السياسية المعاصرة للقيام بمراجعة فكرية وسياسية وفكرية، حتى نواكب تحولات الربيع الديمقراطي الذي يشهد العالم العربي.
نرجو في الأخير أن يضيف هذا الكتاب الجديد إلى مجال الدراسات الفلسفية عامة وإلى دراسات الفلسفة السياسية خاصة.
