ولقد تأطرت الصورة الأولية للإجتماع الإنساني في دائرة الحياة الأسرية الإنطوائية، والتي تدفع المرء إلى التعاون مع من يوجد حوله من أجل التغلّب على مظاهر الطبيعة وقوى الحياة وتحدّي الحيوان.
اندفع البشر نتيجة أحلامهم بالحياة السعيدة إلى توخّي الإجتماع في دائرة واسعة من أجل التعاون والتكامل وسلب الصراع المؤدي إلى الدّمار الكلي للذات، فظهرت عبر التاريخ تأملات عديدة تجسّد فيها السعي إلى النموذج الأمثل للإجتماع الإنساني، وهو الذي تمثّل أول الأمر في ما يُسمّى بالمدينة، ولكن واقع التاريخ لم يكن متوافقاً مع الآمال والتأملات المنشودة من قبل البشر، بسبب سيطرة الحاكم وإستبداده وهيمنة أسرته على جميع مرافق المدينة والدولة.
