"أيها النازحون إلى قلبي مهلاً فلن يتقطب اليوم جبيني من أثر ما حملته ولن يتعود على البطء الرابض في كفي من بقايا الزلال علموني أيها النازحون معنى المعرفة كي ألوي عليها ذراعي، ولا أنفك عن معانقتك أيتها الأرض إلى حكمة أهديتها حروفي، لا، لن أرقب الغد ولا الزمن القابع. سوف أشتري ظلا لأخبيء فيه جسدي ثم أترك كل شيء للغرق أيها النازحون أما آن لكم أن تلبسوا بعضاً من إشارات ونجوم الليلة فرح، عجلني كيفما شئت أيها الفرح لا تعنين الأسرار ولا الحكايات، أنا أول من أتيت إلى هذا العالم أحمل معي صورة، وأشياء لو يفقهون؟ العائدون إلى بيوتهم نسو أن يزرعوا أحذيتهم فوق التلال وبخروها هكذا دون أن يشعلوا النار النازحون إلى بيوتهم غرقوا، ولا دليل يرشدهم إلى الشرارة الأولى ومثواهم الأخير هذه بعض من أفكارنا، تخطينا قروناً وقروناً اشترينا مدفعاً وكأساً فارغة هذه بعض من أسمالنا أعطيناها شواهد لمعنى الخراب وانتقلنا بك أيتها الخطوات إلى شارع يضيق بنا حتى العبارات التي تفوهنا بها خجلت وعادت إلى بيوتها حتى الرايات التي علقناها يوماً لتعطينا معنى لمعانقة الأنتصار نكست (ولا ندري أين الصواب) عشرون أرخبيلاً تتنازع في رأسي وأعوام تجر معها ويلات الهزيمة غير أني مكتف حالم وسط فوضى عارمة وخيوط تمتد إلى الهاوية بفعل خيباتنا المتراكمة أنطر إلى أي شارع يبتعد الشارع عنه حيث لا هواء في الغرفة لكي نلامس اليأس في أعيننا، والأطفال الباكون يحلمون بمعنى الرحيل والزجاج الذي أصاب كهولتنا تركنا خلف الريح حيارى حتى البرد أوجع أناملنا، غير أنه لا عزاء لا مدينة تودعنا لا بلاد تقف معنا أيها النازحون إلى قلبي ماذا تريدون من أعيننا".
