ينبني هذا الكتاب على تعلم اللغة العربية بمحاكاة أساليب العرب الفصحاء، وتقليدها بصورة تطبيقية عملية، أكثر من قيامه على تقعيد القواعد النظرية. هكذا يقدم لنا الأستاذ "فهد أحمد الجباوي" كتابه الشامل لقواعد اللغة العربية وكيفية تعلمها وتطبيقها في حياتنا.
عن عمله هذا القول الجباوي "... بوحي من كلام الجاحظ وإبن خلدون، وبتأملي تلك الأمثلة التي سقتها من الماضي والحاضر، وبإطلاعي على نتائج الدراسات الحديثة فب تعلم اللغات، وبخبرتي في التعليم والتعلم... إتجه تفكيري إلى تأليف كتاب في تعلم العربية ألغي فيه كل قواعد النحو والصرف، وأصوغ جملاً وأساليب تشتمل على هيئات التراكيب العربية، ونماذجها في الكلام لينسج الطالب على منوالها دون أن يسميها بأسماء النحاة: فعلاً، فاعلاً، مفعولاً، مبتدأ، خبراً، حالاً، تمييزاً... ثم رجعت عن هذه الطفرة، وإخترت طريقاً وسطاً احتفظت فيه بالمصطلحات والتسميات التي لا يحسن تركها، وألغيت أكثر من خمسين مصطلحاً (...) وجعلت المثل الأعلى من القرآن الكريم(...) وقد سميت الأنموذج المراد دراسته في كل درس "صيغة"، سواء كانت هذه الصيغة كلمة مفردة (...) أم كلمة في جملة مفيدة تدرس حركتها تبعاً للعوامل المؤثرة فيها..."
هذا، وقد رقم المؤلف هذه الصيغ في الكتاب ليسهل الرجوع إليها، وأرفقها بجدول يقرن أرقام هذه الصيغ بمصطلحاتها في النحو والصرف، ليكون المتعلم في حالة خيار، بين أن يتعلم يطريقة الصيغ المحاكاة، وطريقة المصطلحات النحوية والصرفية المعهودة بشكل مبسط وسهل.
إلى من فاته أن يتعلم اللغة العربية في المدارس وإلى من كانت العربية مقررة عليه في حياته الدراسية ولكنه لم يتقنها وصرفته عنها صعوبات نحوها وصرفها وإلى من يريد أن يتعلمها بمصطلحاتها التقليدية ولكن بصورة أسهل وأبسط، إلى كل من يرغب من هؤلاء في أن يتعلم اللغة العربية الفصحى بأن يتكلمها كما تكلمها العرب الأوائل وأن يكتبها كما كتبوها, فيرفع المرفوع وينصب المنصوب ويجر المجرور، يقدم هذا الكتاب القائم على تعلم العربية بمحاكاة أساليب العرب الفصحاء، وتقليدها بصورة تطبيقية عملية، أكثر من قيامه على تقعيد القواعد النظرية.
