لا أحد في الطريق إليها / لا أحد في الطريق إلى / ( مقهى الأرملة ) / المقهى الذي نجى من القصف / ( الأرملة ) / وحدها هناك ، / تنظف المقاعد من / دخان القصف ، / تعيد المفارش الطائرة إلى الموائد ، / ترتب المنافض للمدخنين ، / تهش رائحة القصف عن الهواء / تغسل البلاط / دلال القهوة ، / تشطف دوماً تجمد على الرصيف ، / تنظر في جهتي الطريق ، / لا أحد في طريقه إلى المقهى ( ... ) " .
