هذه دراسة عن نساء ظهرن في حياة خاتم النبيين صلى الله عليه وسلم، جمعت مادتها من مصادر موثوقة، ومناهل مرموقة، أودعها المؤلف شواهد من القرآن، وأتبعها بفرائد من الحديث النبوي الصحيح، تاركاً ما ثبت أنه ضعيف. وتشمل الدراسة هذه سبعة أقسام هي التالية:
1-النساء اللواتي شهدت طفولة الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم، وكان لهن الباع في تربيته وتنشئته وتهيئته لحمل أمانة رب العالمين، 2-النساء اللواتي دخلن حياته بزواجه منهن، فأصبحن أمهات المؤمنين، 3-النساء اللواتي عقد عليهن، ثم سرحهن قبل أن يدخل بهن، 4-النساء اللواتي كنّ له سُرَّيات، 5-النساء اللواتي خطبهنّ ولم يعقد عليهنّ، 6-النساء اللواتي ولدن لهنّ وكان لهنّ خير الآباء، وكن نعم الزوجات والأمهات والبنات، بنات المصطفى صلى الله عليه وسلم، 7-النساء اللواتي شددن أزره في دعوته، ونافحن عنه في محنته، ولم يدّخرن جهداً في نصرته، وذلك بحكم القرابة والنسب وهنّ عماته رضي الله عنهنّ. وقد اجتهد المؤلف في دراسته اجتناب مواضع الزلل فيما كتب وتوخّى الموضوعية والصدق والدقة فيما روى.
