"الموسوعة العلمية لطلاب العلوم الشرعية" موسوعة توجهت بمادتها لطلاب العلوم الشرعية، لتكون عوناً لهم في سيرهم في طريق الطلب، والازدياد من أنوار العلم الذي منه الثواب، حيث اشتملت عدداً من أهم المصنفات التي حملت طابعاً إسلامياً شرعياً سعت من خلالها لإيضاح بعض العلوم كعلم التوحيد والاعتقاد والحديث والفقه وأصوله والنحو قواعده. وبين يديك المجموعة الخامسة من هذه الموسوعة وهي تأتي تحت عنوان "مصطلح الحديث"، حيث تضم كتابين يدخلان ضمن كتب علوم الحديث وهما: الباعث الحديث شرح اختصار علوم الحديث للإمام ابن كثير الدمشقي، وهذا المتن هو عبارة عن متن تم فيه اختصار "مقدمة ابن الصلاح" بعبارة سهلة فصيحة، وجمل مفهومة، مستدركاً على ابن الصلاح استدراكات مفيدة وذلك بهدف تسهيل طلب هذا العلم في رسالة وسط لاهي طويلة مملة ولا قصيرة مخلة بالمعنى.
أما الرسالة الثانية المقدمة في هذا الكتاب فهي "نخبة الفكر في مصطلح أهل الأثر" وهي عبارة عن رسالة لخص فيها ابن حجر العسقلاني المهم مما جمعه ابن الصلاح في كتابه "مقدمة ابن الصلاح" ويعتبر هذا الشرح من أهم وأشهر الشروح حلاً مشكلات المتن والاشتقاق والبديع والمنطق.
