يخرج النصّ الأدبيّ إلى الوجود بعد ولادة عسرة في كثير من الأحيان يسيرة في بعضها، وبعد تولّده يصبح ذا كيان مستقلّ يتناوله الناس على اختلاف أجناسهم وثقافتهم شأنه شأن المولود الجديد، ويُقدّر له ما يُقدّر للمولود سعادة وشقاء. ولا يكون حظّ منتجه بأسعد من حظّ الوالدين حين يُبشَّران بمولود جديد، فإمّا أن يكون سبب سعادتهما أو شقائهما؛ إذ كما يحرص الوالد على أن ينشأ ولده تنشئة سليمة ويخرج سليماً سوياً في أعضائه سوياً في تفكيره وتعامله، فإنّ النصّ الأدبيّ يشبهه كذلك، فإمّا أن يكون سوياً في الجسم والتفكير أو مشوّهاً شائناً يشقى به الناس في مراحلَ متعدّدة، وليس أدلَّ عل ذلك من النصوص التي كتبت لها السعادة، فتناولها الشرّاح بالنقد والتحليل، أو من بقيت حبيسة في أدراج المكتبات، رهينة لا يُؤبه بها.بناءً على ما سلف، فإنّ كثيراً من النصوص نالت شهرة فائقة حتى إنّ أصحابها سعدوا بها وذاع صيتها وانتشرت في أجيال متلاحقة، وفي الوقت نفسه فإنّ كثيراً من تلك النصوص لم تَرَ النور، ولم يُكتب لها الذيوع والانتشار.
والعمل الأدبيّ نِتاج إنسانيّ من خلال ظروف وملابسات بيئيّة واجتماعيّة لا يمكن إنكارها، فكلّما كان النصّ الأدبيّ ذاتيّاً إنسانيّاً كان عالميّاً في قبوله وانتشاره، وكلّما كانت التجرِبة ذاتيّة إنسانيّة تعدّت حدود مُنتِجها وموطنها حتى تغدو في آفاق الأدب العالميّ الإنسانيّ.
