في كتابه هذا، يثير الأستاذ حيدر كامل إشكالات تفسير الآيات القرآنية بين جمهور العلماء والعامة والمذاهب الإسلامية المختلفة، بالإضافة إلى علماء اللغة، فكان هذا الكتاب يكشف به مؤلفه ما يستسعصي من الألفاظ ومن المعاني التي قد يستطيع القارىء الولوج منه إلى عالم الطلمة الفصيحة واللفظة البليغة.
جاء الكتاب على شكل أسئلة وأجوبة السؤال الذي يطرحه القراء على المؤلف والإجابة عنه، بالإعتماد على كتاب الله (القرآن الكريم) وكتب التفاسير والمعتبرة عند أهل البيت ومنها تفسير جوامع الكلم للشيخ الطبرسي، وتفسير نور الثقلين للشيخ الحويزي، وغيرها من الروايات الشريفة والأحاديث النبوية الخاصة بتدبر كتاب الله.
يقول المؤلف: "إن كشف عدم الإختلاف وعدم التناقض بين الآيات القرآنية المختلفة يحتاج إلى تدبر عميق، وتأمل كبير. فالقرآن يفتح للناس أبواب التدبر الذاتي في قضايا عميقة منه ويدعوهم إلى ذلك، وتؤكد الروايات وتأمر بالتأمل بالقرآن الكريم، من أجل استخراج معارفه وكنوزه الدفينة. ففي الحديث المروي عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: أعربوا القرآن، أي أحكموا إعراب الكلمات والجمل، والتمسوا غرائبه، أي تاأملوا فيه، وتفهموا معانيه الغريبة ...".
من الأسئلة الواردة في هذا الكتاب والتي أجاب عليها المؤلف نذكر: ما معنى الرحمن والرحيم، وما وجه تقديم الرحمن على الرحيم؟، ما معنى الحروف في بدايات السور؟ ما معنى المكر منه سبحانه؟ ما معنى قوله تعالى "كلٌ من عند الله"؟ ما المراد من قوله "وروح منه" (...) وأسئلة أخرى ذات صلة.
