يهدف هذا الكتاب إلى بيان وإبراز الفكر العقدي عن الإمام النورسي واقتضت طبية الدراسة أن يستخدم الباحث في رسالته المنهج الاستقرائي والتحليلي والاستنباطي. فقام الباحث باستقراء النصوص التي لها تعلق بفكر النورسي العقدي ومن ثم تحليلها ومن ثم استنباط فكره العقدي منها. وقد لخص الباحث في دراسته لعدد من النتائج، فمن أهم هذه النتائج أن النورسي يغلب عليه التأثر بفكر الأشاعرة. وهذا ما نلحظة في فهمة لصفات الله-عز وجل- مثلا، كما وتبين من خلال هذه الدراسة أن النورسي يعتمد كثيرا على أسلوب التخيل والتمثيل في عرض قضايا العقيدة كما ويلحظ من خلال التتبع والاستقراء اهتمام النورسي الكبير بالدليل العقلي
