ولد عام 1944 في الخيام.
تخرج في جامعة بيروت العربية - قسم اللغة العربية وآدابها.
عمل بالتدريس في المرحلة الثانوية في صيدا وبيروت, ومايزال، كما عمل في الصحافة الثقافية، ويعمل حاليا مدير تحرير لمجلة شهرية منوعة تصدر عن مؤسسة عرين غرافيكس.
له مساهمات عديدة في صحف ومجلات تصدر في لبنان والخارج.

قلبوا صفحات هذا الكتاب، تأملوا في ما قام به أبطال القصص الأربعة الذين يواجهون العديد من المشاكل، فالأول يكره الدرس ويحب اللعب... والثاني وجد نفسه ذات يوم عالقاً مع عدد من رفاقه في كهف مظلم ومعرض للخطر... والثالث يعاني مشكلة الخجل... أما الرابع فيعاني الغربة والضيق من حياة المدينة، إنها مجموعة قصص أحداثها مسلية وعباراتها بسيطة تتناسب وذهنية الطفل.
يتضمن هذا الكتاب أربع قصص، تعرضُ أربع مُشكِلاتٍ، يُواجِهُها أربعةُ فتيانٍ هم أبطالُ قصصِ الكتاب.
الفتى الأولُ يُعاني مشكلة كونِهِ يكرهُ الدرس، ويُحبُّ اللعبَ! وهذه مشكلةٌ صعبةُ، ومعقّدة بالنسبةِ لتلميذِ مدرسةٍ...
أما الثاني فقد وجد نفسهُ ذاتَ يوم عالقاً مع عددٍ من رفاقه في كهفٍ مُظلمٍ، ومُعرضينَ أنفسهُمْ لخطرٍ عظيمٍ... والثالثُ يعاني مشكلةً الخجلِ من التكلّمِ في الصفَّ، أمام معلميه وزملائه؛ أمّا الفتى الرابعُ فيُعاني مُشكلةً الغربةِ بعد إنتقاله منْ مدرسةِ القريةِ إلى مدرسةِ المدينةِ.
