يتناول الجزء الأول من هذا الكتاب مسألة التمثيل التجاري التي تعتبر "من القضايا الهامة في عالم اليوم.."، لما للتجارة من أهمية في اقتصاديات البلدان، و"خاصة في بلد كلبنان حيث شغلت فيه التجارة حيزاً مهما في فترات متقطعة من التاريخ".
يجد القارئ في صفحات هذا الكتاب، اجتهادات متنوعة وأخرى حديثة صادرة عن مختلف المحاكم اللبنانية ونصوص قانونية حول: التمثيل التجاري، وإثبات صلاحية، واحتكار، وتحكيم دولي ويتطرق إلى النظام الدولي العام واتفاقية نيويورك التي صدرت بتاريخ 10/6/58، وتمثيل وتوزيع حصري، كما توفر شروط الممثل التجاري ومواصفاته، وفسخ العقد وتعويضه وفتح المحاكمة وتحديد المسؤولية والتعويض، وسحب وكالة وفيه قضية سحبها بشكل مفاجئ ومسؤولية الموكل والوكيل الجديد، كما موضوع ممثل وحيد وتصريف البضاعة في منطقة تمثيله، ووكيل عام ويتضمن سفريات وتمثيل تجاري وفسخ العقد والتعويض وتعيين الخبير، كما مواضيع أخرى متنوعة، وتنتهي بالبحث في المرسوم إشتراعي رقم 34 تاريخ 5/8/1967 وتعديلاته.
يأمل المؤلف من هذه الدراسة الحقوقية القيّمة، أن يكون قد خطى "خطوة أخرى في مسيرة طويلة وفي إيلاء موضوع التمثيل التجاري حقه وفي أجزاء لاحقة لما فيه خير الحقوقيين خصوصاً واللبنانيين عموماً".
