وهذا الكتيب الذي بين أيدينا يعرض بأسلوب موجز لبعض الإرشادات والنصائح والمستحبات والمكروهات التي تقدمها الشريعة الإسلامية لمن يريد السعادة الزوجية والتي تتدخل في حياة الإنسان وسعادته أو شقائه وصحته أو مرضه بل وإيمانه وفسقه. وقد أتى الكتاب رداً على سؤال تقدمت به فتاة حيث سألته فيه عن آداب ومستحبات ليلة عقد النكاح وليلة الزفاف. ومن أهم العناوين الأخرى التي تطرق لها المؤلف في كتابه الزواج في القرآن، الزواج في السنة، اختيار الزوجة، الخلوة بين الزوجين، حقوق الزوجين، أسباب الطلاق، جمال المرأة بين الخيال والواقع، فقه الزواج، الأسس الأولية للحياة الزوجية.
