تواكب أحداث رواية "تارا ورحلة المليون" للروائي العراقي "أنور مصطفى برواري" فاجعة الهجرة الجماعية (رحلة المليون آدمي من الكورد باتجاه الأراضي التركية زحفاً على الأقدام هرباً من بطش قوات الجيش العراقي التي بدأت باتجاه مدينة (داهواك) عام (1991).
عند هذا المنعطف، تبدأ قصة حب بين (تارا) و(شفان) احتضتها منطقة (جه لى) التركية، ولكنها قصة حب لم تكتمل عندما حانت لحظات الرحيل وعادت (تالا) إلى أرضها بعد توقف الحرب.
هذه الحكاية يقولها أنور برواري بواسطة راوٍ مذكرَ، مستخدماً صيغة المتكلم في السرد، فيبدو الراوي وكأنه "شفان" حبيبته (تالا) وكأنه يريد أن يستحضرها بواسطة اللغة بعد أن استدعاها بالذاكرة. وهنا، يرتقي فعل التذكر ليغدو بوحاً شفيفاً يصنع منه أجمل الكلمات: " تارا ويا أجمل الخلق/ أوتارا حلوة الجبل/ أوتارا ويا أميرة الفكر والخيال". وهكذا بهذا الخطاب الروائي يبني "برواري" نصه فتكون "تارا ورحلة المليون" في مستوى الكلام حين يجدَ.
