يعد تعليم العقيدة من أبرز ما يناط بالمرشد والمعلم، نظراً للمكانة التي يحتلها التصور الاعتقادي في حياة الفرد، على مستوى الفكر والنظر، وفي واقع السلوك والتطبيق. والنقاط التي يتناولها الدكتور "عدنان محمد زرزور" في هذا البحث، سعى من خلالها إلى تحقيق الأهداف التربوية والتعليمية التالية: 1-الوقوف على الأهداف العامة للعقيدة الإسلامية، وعلى تصورها الفريد للتوحيد في عالم اليوم. 2-تشكيل قناعة بأن العقيدة الإسلامية هي العقيدة المثلى لبني الإنسان، لا بحقائقها ومضامينها فحسب، بل كذلك بمنهجها وطريقتها في الخطاب، لأنها تخلو في الحيل اللاهوتية، ومن كل ما يناقض أحكام العقل من جهة. 3-الإلمام بأبرز خصائص المنهج القرآني في عرض حقائق هذه العقيدة وأدلتها بوجه عام، وبالقياس إلى المناهج التي استحدثها علماء الكلام في التاريخ الإسلامي بوجه خاص. 4-ملاحظة الفرق بين مبدأ تصحيح العقيدة أو الاعتقاد، ومسألة فاعليتها وإيجابيتها، ومدى تأثيرها العميق في النفس الإنسانية. وقد جاءت موضوعات هذا البحث على النحو التالي: العقيدة والإيمان وأثرهما في حياة الإنسان، مكانة العقيدة في الإسلام، تعليم العقيدة: منهج ومبادئ، توحيد الألوهية والربوبية وأثره التربوي، خطوات تدريس العقيدة.
