قاموس اللغتين هو أول قاموس من نوعه إذ يجمع بين كونه قاموساً مزدوج الاستخدام (عربي-ألماني) و (ألماني-عربي). الجزء الأول وهو عربي ألماني يتألف من قسمين أو مجلدين: القسم الأول من الحرف (أ) إلى الحرف (ش)، أما القسم الثاني فهو من الحرف (ص) إلى الحرف (ي). أما الجزء الثاني فهو قاموس ألماني عربي، وقد ألفه الدكتور أدولف قارموند ورتبه بشكل يساعد على استخدامه بسهولة ويسر ويتميز بإمكانية تهجيت الكلمات العربية بالحروف الألمانية وبذلك فإنه يساعد متعلمي اللغة العربية من الأجانب على تعلم طريقة التلفظ بالمفردة العربية، كما يبين معنى المفردة باللغة الألمانية والقاموس يقدم مداخل عديدة للمفردة الواحدة مما يسهل الأمور على الباحث والدارس المتقدم والمبتدئ.
