الحجاوي ( 000 - 968 هـ = 000 - 1560 م)
موسى بن أحمد بن موسى بن سالم بن عيسى بن سالم الحجاوي المقدسي، ثم الصالحي، شرف الدين، أبو النجا: فقيه حنبلي، من أهل دمشق.
كان مفتي الحنابلة وشيخ الإسلام فيها.
نسبته إلى (حجة) من قرى نابلس.
له كتب، منها (زاد المستقنع في اختصار المقنع - ط) فقه، اختصره بتصرف، و (شرح منظومة الآداب الشرعية للمرداوى - خ) و (الإقناع - ط) أربعة أجزاء، في مجلدين، وهو من أجل كتب الفقه عند الحنابلة، قال ابن العماد: لم يؤلف أحد مؤلفا مثله في تحرير النقول وكثرة المسائل، و (مختصر المقنع - خ)

إنه مختصر في الفقه من مقنع الامام أحمد على قول واحد وهو الراجح في مذهب أحمد: وربما حذفت منه مسائل نادرة الوقوع وزدت ما على مثله يعتمد اذ الهمم قصرت. والأسباب المثبطة عن نيل المراد قد كثرت ومع صغر حجمه حوى ما يغني عن التطويل.
