الفينيقيون حقيقة تاريخية، والسامية لغة وشعباً كذبة تاريخية. هذا هو الإطار العام لهذا الكتاب. حيث يبين المؤلف بأن بحاثي التوارة ومؤرخي الغرب، الذين كتبوا تاريخنا القديم، بما يتطابق مع أخباريات التوراة، ورتبوا الحقب التاريخية، ونشروا الأثريات بها، ولجأوا إلى توليف أصول غريبة هرباً من كلمة العربية أو اليمنية، وابتدعوا أن معظم شعوب المنطقة تعود إلى سام بن نوح، وأن الجذر اللغوي المشترك للغات المنطقة وأثرياتها هو الجذر السامي غير الموجود أو الملموس، هؤلاء أمعنوا فيما ركبوه وفرضوا ما يسمى بشعوب الكنعان على السواحل الشامية عبر التاريخ، واعتبروا أن الكنعان غير الملموسين أثراً ولغة في بلاد الشام على أنهم الفينيقيون، وجعلوا اللغة العبرية الميتة تاريخاً، والمستحدثة بداية هذا القرن، على أنها الكنعانية والفينيقية، وأنها الآداة الصالحة لتفسير النقوش البابلية والأوغاريتية والفينيقية عبر لبنان والعالم، ونقوش ماري وغيرها في سوريا.
ومن خلال أبحاثه ودراسته كشف المؤلف الحقيقة التالية: إن مسرح قبائل وملوك التوراة كانوا حول صنعاء، منصوباً بذلك لهذا الكذب التاريخي المتمادي في التلفيق والإغفال. والكتاب بفصوله العشرة، يثبت بطلان هذا التاريخ، وهو إلى جانب ذلك يمثل دعوة للمؤرخين الأكاديميين إلى الاجتهاد في البحث والتنقيب عن الحقائق، لا بنشر ما يتردد من مقولات في هذا الصدد.
