يحمل هذا الكتاب عنوان "طرائق تدريب الأهالي" جمع فيه المؤلف كماً كبيراً من الطرائق المتنوعة ليختار منها المدربين، والميسرين، والمنشطين ما يناسب برامجهم وأنشطتهم التدريبية والتثقيفية والتوعوية وقد راعى عند إنتقاءه الطرائق إمكانية توظيفها لخدمة أهداف وفئات مختلفة كالأطفال والفتيات والصبايا والنساء وربات البيوت وغيرهم.
يشتمل هذا الكتاب على (160) أسلوباً ويتضمن تقديم الأسلوب الواحد على تحديد مسماه الفني باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية إلى جانب صورة فوتوغرافية ثم شرحاً مختصراً عن كل أسلوب مع أمثلة توضيحية حيثما أمكن ذلك ثم يختتم الحديث عن كل أسلوب ببيان ما أسماه بالمحطات المفصلية للأسلوب، يبين المحط المفصلي لكل أسلوب المراحل، أو الخطوات، أو الأفكار الرئيسة التي على المدرب أو الميسر مراعاتها عند إستخدام الأسلوب.
تنبع أهمية هذا الدليل، من أنه يمثل المحاولة العربية الأولى من نوعها، من حيث توفير كتاب واسع للعاملين بتنمية المجتمعات المحلية كالقرى، والبلدات، والمخيمات والأرياف.
