إن معظم المسلمين يكتفون برفع شعائر الإسلام فقط فهم يصلون ويصومون ويزكون ويحجون لكنك لا تجد الإسلام في بيوتهم, ولا في أخلاقهم ولا في سلوكهم, ولا في كلامهم, ولا في تجارتهم, ولا في أفراحهم, ولا في علاقتهم مع الناس. إن الله يأمرنا أن نكون على مستوى العبادات والإيمان الصادق لا أن تأخذها شكلية وظاهرية, من هنا كان هدف الكتاب وهو التركيز على المواضيع الدينية التي يجهل أهميتها كثير من المسلمين, إذ يظن معظمهم أنها من القشور مثل: الغيبة, والكذب, والظلم, وصلة الرحم, وبر الوالدين وحقوق الزوج والزوجة وحقوق الناس, ويعتقدون أنه من أدى الشعائر الإسلامية مثل: الصلاة والصيام والزكاة والحج فقد فاز بالجنة. وكتابنا هذا كنز من كنوز السنة المطهرة, وصاحب صنعته طبيب يقوم على مداواة الأجسام, ولكنه بفضل ما شرفه الله به من العلم والمعرفة بسبب صحبة الأولياء والمربين العارفين أراد أن يداوي الأفهام ويرشدها على خير الأنام, ليكون لها في ذلك كمال الستقامة, وليتحقق الفوز والكرامة في هذه الدنيا وفي يوم القيامة, وقد أكرمه الله تبارك وتعالى بمعرفة الورثة الحقيقيين لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم, وأخذ عنهم ما جعله غير متوقف عند حد من حدود العلم بل ارتقى الأنواع من العلم الشريف وجد فيها أموراً يتوجب على المسلمين معرفتها, فنظمها نسيجاً راقياً وجعلها حدائق غناء تشبه رياض الصالحين ولم ينس ما في الترغيب والترهيب من نهج الحبيب المصطفى صلى الله عليه وسلم, ولعل عمله الشريف هذا لم يكن فريداً في المكتبة الإسلامية, إذ لدى العلماء الأقدمين مثل هذا النهج, وقد تناول الكتاب العنوين لرئسية التالية:تقويم الإيمان, العبادات, الإيمان والعقيدة, الأخلاق, البر والصلاة, نهاية العالم, الآخرة, الشعوذة, متفرقات, وأخيراً وصايا نبوية.
